I don't know, I just think it's Meisel's way of trying to make some sort of career-boosting comeback or whatever. You know, controversy for marketing's sake.

        I actually like the shots - but not as a fashion spread. They have a gritty realism mixed with a artsy subject... They are a bit too hard to really sell fashion, but as a set, they work well.

        Of course as a photographer, I've done a lot of shoots that others feel are in bad taste... everyone is entitled to their opinion...
